AE Photonics Maroc has set up Africa’s largest solar pump to date in the southern Moroccan town of Taroudant.
Pump PS21k made by Lorentz is run by 84 LDK 220 W/poly modules, and transports 308 m³ of water from a 75-m-deep well every day. With the help of a drip irrigation system, it is used to irrigate a 10-ha olive plantation.
